POW! POW! mini performance art festival in san francisco, CA...where artists can actually do whatever they want!

POW! was founded by kattt atchley (formerly kattt sammon), alyssa lee, and gal*in_dog to promote action art. the POW! festival is not only original in its aesthetics but also in its grass roots community organized model. POW! is a viable alternative to other conventional performance art festivals and venues. POW! is an invitation to play and experiment new and controversial ideas in front of an audience. the festival is a long time project that creates a community establishing partnerships between artists who believe their performance art doesn’t belong to any pre-established categories.

The 3rd annual POW!POW!POW! will be held in san francisco, CA in 2010. POW! to the 3rd power will be produced, curated, and directed by alyssa lee + gal*in_dog (AKA guillermo galindo), and will feature a top secret guest curator!
