for the past ten years micael has been continually involved in nonprofit work as an artist, fundraiser, administrator + consultant. his passion was developed at a young age while working as a choreographer + director for new jersey’s largest nonprofit theater company. he continued working in the performing arts by co-founding a successful dance/theater collective in philadelphia, managing the university of pennsylvania’s international children’s theater festival + working as a project manager for numerous cultural nonprofit organizations. in 2005, he decided to further his formal education by pursuing a masters degree in arts administration at drexel university.
