jarred mcadams is a writer, composer, + performer of complex + engaging works for television, radio, + theater. a native of lexington, tennessee, jarred studied composition at the oberlin conservatory of music, + then completed graduate studies, also in music composition, at mills college. in 2002, jarred wrote + directed men of action, a widely praised chamber opera. from 2004 to 2006, he produced affordable entertainment, an independent tv variety show. jarred is also active as a performer of other people's work.
