cathy trainor has danced her way from the pacific ocean to the baltic sea. she was born and raised in oakland and received her training at berkeley ballet theater and shawl-anderson dance center. she has performed in many places, but still finds dancing at random moments to be highly adventurous. she discovered choreography during her first year at the college of wooster and is preparing a piece, "Alchemy," for wooster's fall dance concert. she is also filming her first documentary about fort ross in california.
